Our Strategic PartnersGroundwork has strong business systems and excellent working relationships with consultants who complement our core skill set. This approach to consultancy allows us to quickly build specialist project teams and to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. Here are some of the people we enjoy working with most. Andrew McFaddenAndrew has been part of our wider team since 2007 and is a highly respected facilitator, trainer and coach having worked in the corporate, social services, not-for-profit and education sectors. His professional interests are in the areas of individual and team development, leadership, communication, and behaviour change. Helen RitchieHelen and Annie have delivered sustainable agriculture extension, research and facilitation services together since 1999. Helen is a facilitator and researcher with significant experience in community and environmental projects. She has been involved in the design and delivery of facilitation training for community members, local and central government staff, and the Enviroschools programme. Robin and Annick JansonEcosynergy Group is an applied research for development organisation, skilled in facilitation of agriculture extension, leadership learning and tacit knowledge dissemination through applied social research. Ecosynergy has a deep understanding of the factors underpinning agricultural production, based on how psychosocial factors influence the adoption of scientific findings and how these disciplines can best be combined to ensure optimal production outcomes in the field. Louise HanlonLouise’s project management, technical writing, marketing and communication skills have been invaluable to many Groundwork projects. She has a background in the agricultural and IT industries, having been involved in all aspects of the product cycle of agricultural software including: concept generation, testing, technical support, generation of support documentation and marketing. Louise was involved in project managing large scale broadband network installations and has provided writing, research and documentation expertise to a variety of large agricultural companies. Since gaining her degree in Agricultural Science and MBA (marketing major) from Massey she has enjoyed being a part of the vibrant New Zealand agricultural industry. Kaye WhittleKaye was Groundwork’s media assistant in 2006 and has been one of our select group of contractors since starting her own business in 2007. With Groundwork, Kaye provided support for our evaluation and facilitation projects, media communications, publications, report writing, website creation and copy writing. An experienced radio broadcaster and website editor, Kaye has extended her skills into writing for publications including newspapers, magazines, in-house reports, policies and plans and other key documents. She draws her clients from the local government, tertiary, agricultural, environmental, mental health and disability sectors. Phillipa CrequerPhillipa is an expert at planning and running rural events and has strong rural networks, a result of her long involvement with the Waikato Farm Environment Awards Trust and subsequently the NZ Farm Environment Awards Trust. Annie and Phillipa have 10 years experience working together and Phillipa joined our team on a part time basis in 2009. |
Groundwork supports young talent“Climate Change NOW”, an exhibition by local artist Janiv Janson, is a colourful feature at Groundwork Associates’ meeting and event venue, The Greenspace. Yaniv only started painting in 2008 yet by year’s end he will have sold over 70 paintings and featured in 23 exhibitions, including shows in the USA, France and Israel. In 2008, he was the youngest finalist in two of New Zealand’s most prestigious art awards: the Trust Waikato National Contemporary Arts Award and the Wallace Trust Arts Award. All works are for sale.
